“Offering the highest quality of expertise and service to help the client accomplish their Real Estate needs. Providing personal care, communication, and proactive marketing, while demonstrating integrity and respect, to the customer and community.”
MJ’s experience and achievements include the earned designations of Associate Broker, and EcoBroker®.
An Associate Broker designation is the highest level of education and training available to the real estate professional, qualifying them to own and operate their own brokerage under the Maryland Real Estate Commission’s Labor and Licensing laws. Requiring an additional 120 hours of education, a minimum of 3 years Real Estate experience, and consistent operating in “good character and reputation”, as outlined by the Commission. This level of training, education and expertise far exceeds the average education requirements for Real Estate salespersons and other designations, positioning the buyer or seller to obtain the most qualified professional representation possible, to navigate today’s economic climate.
The EcoBroker® is an equally prestigious premier provider of green designation training for real estate professionals. Training and education has been earned on energy efficiency, environmental issues, indoor air quality and sustainable building practices that affect this growing real estate trend. With today’s consumer concerned about saving money and environmentally conscious living, this training provides a value added service that makes a difference to the general public and the environment. The EcoBroker® logo is the symbol of environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the Real Estate industry.
MJ was appointed by the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) to sit on the Green Task Force Committee, which identifies and disseminates information on how energy efficiency, environmental issues, and sustainable practices affect the real estate transaction, the real estate professional and the consumer.
MJ serves as President, of the Eaglehead Community Preservation Corporation in Lake Linganore, a 501 c-3 corporation, that established a Special Taxing District (CDA) to bring infrastructure to the 115 lot Village of Aspen North. MJ is working on the development of this project for storm water management, storm drain, water and sewer, roads, and utilities.
